Marilee Ann Ervin, 63 passed away at 8:37 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 14, 1954 in St. Louis, MO. Marilee was the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (DeSpain) Kohn.

Marilee and Raymond E. Ervin of Wood River were married May 13, 1989 in Rosewood Heights.

She started working in customer service and moved up to accounting for Western Union in St. Charles, MO. Marilee worked there for several years, until the company closed its Missouri office.

Marilee loved to listen to Celtic music, it was her favorite.

Besides her husband Ray, she is survived by a daughter and her husband, Stephanie and Christopher Richards of Wood River, who are expecting their first child in July. Marilee was so excited that she and Ray were going to be grandparents; two brothers and one sister-in-law, John “Jack” Kohn of Florissant, MO, Frank and Pat Kohn of High Ridge, MO.

A celebration of Marilee's life will begin at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 until 7:00 p.m., with a service at 5:00 p.m. at
First Family Church, 86 Tomlinson St., East Alton  62024.

Pastor Randy Volmar will officiate.
