Mark Crider

Mark Alan Crider, 61, of Granite City, IL passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL.

He was born on August 29, 1964 in Granite City, IL to Vernie and Ruth (nee:  Chessey) Crider.

Mark married Belinda Gale Hagopian in Granite City, IL on January 13, 2025.

The loving husband enjoyed horse racing and poker machines.  He was a story writer and wrote “The Chronicles”.  Mark had worked in the steel industry most of his life with his last job being at Heidtman Steel Products in Granite City.  Mark lived his life for his wife Belinda.

Mark is survived by his wife, Belinda; 3 step children:  Lela Hagopian, Jasmin Hagopian and Karla Renee Selph all of Granite City; his father and mother in law:  Dennis and Patsy Hagopian of Granite City; 4 sisters in law:  Shelia Hagopian, Denise Hagopian, Amber Hagopian and April Hagopian and a brother in law, Dennis Hagopian, Jr.

Besides his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a brother in law, Brandon Hagopian.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at 7:00 p.m. Thurs. Sept. 17, 2026 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Peter Wehrly officiating.
