Mary Kuehn

Mary Jo Kuehn “Jo”, nee Mebold, born September 9, 1952, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Memorial Hospital East, Shiloh, IL.

Jo was a respected legal assistant in St. Clair County for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos “Bud” and Emma Sue, nee Hayden, Mebold.

Surviving are her loving husband of 38 years, Clyde Kuehn, whom she married on April 29, 1987, at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, by Judge Michael O’Malley; and her sister, Patricia (Lew) Williams.

Private family services were held.

A private burial will be held in Kentucky.
