Mary Conreux

Mary Nell Conreux, 65, died Friday, October 20, 2017 at her home in Brighton.  Born March 3, 1952 in Wood River, she was the daughter of Cecil and Wanda (Cox) Wenzel.  On August 18, 1972 she married Dale S. Conreux in Alton.  He preceded her in death on October 19, 2010.  Surviving are two brothers, Ronald Wenzel of Lufkin, TX, Doug (Kathy) Wenzel of Alton, two sisters, Mindy (Randy) Barthol of Shreveport, LA, and Cecilia “Sis” (Doug) Plopper of Lufkin, TX.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and loving friends.  Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Remington.  Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.  Private burial will be held at Upper Alton Cemetery.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
