Mary Patton

Mary Louise Braddock Patton, 70, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Jersey Community Hospital in Jerseyville.

Born July 4, 1955 in Chicago, IL, she was a daughter of Albert C. and Mary A. (Whistle) Braddock.

She married Charles Cecil Patton Sept. 22, 1990 in Meadowbrook. He survives.

Also surviving are children, Charles D. Patton of St. Louis and Gail Patton of Nashville, TN; a sister, Margaret A. Braddock of South Elgin, IL; two brothers, Albert “Bo” (Jan) Braddock of Austin, TX, and Ronald (Doris) Harrelson of Elgin; two nephews, Adam and Matt; and a niece, Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Debbie Null.

Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21 at Paynic Home for Funerals, where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23.  Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
