Michael 'Big Mike' Wayne Howland

Michael 'Big Mike' Wayne Howland, 55, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 2:04 p.m. Wed. Apr. 17, 2019 at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL.

He was born Sept. 8, 1963 in Granite City to Joyce (Riggs) Pertee of Granite City and the late Wayne Howland.

Big Mike is survived by 3 children: Michael Scott Howland, Amber Nicole Howland and Tiffany Michelle Howland; 4 grandchildren: Natalie Marie Wilkinson, Abigaile Howland, Demian Michael Proctor and Kendrick Lavon Riddle; a sister: Tammy Howland; 2 brothers: Steve Howland and Grayell Slusher, all of Granite City; and his former spouse: Lavonda Moore of TN.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
