Michael Johnson

Michael Eugene Johnson, 64, of Brighton, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

He was born on July 24, 1959, in Alton, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Sanders) Johnson.

Mike retired from Owens Illinois in Godfrey. He also worked as a real estate agent for Century 21 in Brighton and for Wash and Go Car Wash in Godfrey.  He enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, and was an avid Cowboys football fan.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Johnson; son Brock (Jessie) Johnson of Spokane, WA; daughter Bianca (Matthew) Darr of Jerseyville, IL; grandsons Cameron Johnson and Dean Darr; brother Scott (Christy) Johnson; sister Tammy (Steve) Gardner; several nieces, nephews and great friends

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Donald Johnson.

Visitation will be held from 10 am until the Celebration of life at 11 am on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton. Services will be officiated by Rev. Matthew Darr and Rev. Kent Darr.

Memorials may be made to the family to further grandsons education.
