Michael Hapgood

Michael Joseph Hapgood, 66, passed away Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence.

Born May 10, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Preston J. Hapgood and Mary (Hebruck) Barnes.

He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Kovac of St. Louis, Pauline Hapgood of Alton; brother, John T. Hapgood (Catherine Dorn); sisters, Mary Blackard, Susan Vest, Agnes Roberts, and Margaret (Robert) Lefler.

He was preceded i death by his parents; son, Michael J. Hapgood, Jr.; brothers, Preston J. , Jr., Bill and Thomas Hapgood; and sisters, Lilly Hughes, Shirley Hapgood, Joyce Baylor and Patricia Hapgood.

Cremation services were accorded.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River was in charge of arrangements.
