Michael Embry

Michael K. Embry, 61, passed away at 12:07 a.m., Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his residence.

Born in Alton on February 28, 1056, he was the son of Robert and Dorothy (Gilmore) Embry.

He was a retired laborer, working out of Local #338 in Wood River for over 25 years.

In December of 1976, he married Deborah Howard.  She survives.

Surviving also are two daughters, Radena (Jeff) Clark, Alicia (Shawn) Huff; four grandchildren, Joshua and Garrett Clark, Devon and Paxton Huff; brother, Thomas (Kimberly) Embry; four sisters, Sharon (John) Bridgewater, Sandra Wilson, Donna (Dan) Kohinke, Rebecca (Terry) Doyle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial visitation will be held from 11 a,m, until time of service at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 24 at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.
