Michael Wiley

Michael D. Wiley, 75, of Marissa, IL, born Friday, January 21, 1949, in Sparta, IL, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Michael was a Maintenance Foreman, Machinist, Welder and Mechanic for Peabody Coal Co. and Stumpf Welding in Mascoutah, IL. He was a Veteran in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Parents: Vernon Orlin and Ruth Madeline, nee Craig, Wiley
• Brother: Clement Wiley
• Sister: Yvonne Gill

Surviving are his:

• Wife of 55 years: Flodia Ann, nee Hatton, Wiley of Marissa, IL
• Daughter: Dia Renae (Michael) Bolandis of Collinsville, IL
• Granddaughter: Hollie Bolandis
• Dear nieces and nephews

Funeral: Private Family Services with Army Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
