Murl Cress

Murl Dean Cress, 76, passed away at 8:55 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his residence.

 Murl was born September 6, 1943 in Granite City. He was a son of the late Parl and Ione J. (Smith) Cress.

 Survivors include his brother Bobby L. Hanabarger of Ramsey; one nephew, Randy Cress and Linda of Wood River; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

 Besides his parents, Murl was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Kay Cole.

 Committal services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at the Glendale Cemetery in Fillmore.

 Memorials may be given to that of one's choice.
