Nancy Zini

Nancy Sue Zini, 63, died at 7:40 a.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home.  Born February 16, 1955 in Alton, she was the daughter of John Zini Sr. and Pauline June (Moore) Zini.  She worked for Argosy for over 10 years and attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, watching old films and working with ceramics.  Surviving are two children, Scott Giberson (Lisa) of Bunker Hill, and Mindy Mueller (Joe) of Belleville, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four brothers, John Zini (Brenda) of Rosewood Heights, Tim Zini of Brighton, Matt Zini (Julie) of Hardin, and Ned Zini of Bethalto, and three sisters, Sharon Keith (Richard) of Alton, Jeannie Tarter (Rick) of Alton, and Mary Stacks (Brian) of Moro.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory J. Giberson, a brother, James Bryant Zini, a sister, Linda Ellen Zini, and her husband, Gary Giberson.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Gent Funeral Home.  Private graveside services will be held at Upper Alton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to BJC Hospice.  Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
