Norma J. Skelton, 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Integrity Health Center in Godfrey.She was born January 12, 1934, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of James and Marie (McBride) Anderson.Norma married Athel A. Skelton on December 1, 1951, in Godfrey. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1994.She attended Community Christian Church in Godfrey. She enjoyed reading the Bible and spending time with her family, especially times when she could play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Survivors include her children and their spouses, Vicki and Lester Fudge of Godfrey, Traci and Gary Dunn of Godfrey, Dennis and Diane Skelton of Bradenton, Florida,  Ron and Beth Skelton of Sulfur, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two sibling, Lillie Baker of Springfield, Illinois, and Harry and Beverly Anderson, of Springfield, Illinois.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.Private services will be held later in the week.Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.Online condolences can be given at www.eliaskallalandschaaf.com.
