Pamela Pruitt

Pamela D. Pruitt, 57, of Cottage Hills, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on July 14, 1968, in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Arthur D. and Martha I. (Elliott) Cline. She married Jessie L. Pruitt, Jr. in Edwardsville on January 16, 1998. He survives.

Pamela worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She loved gardening and sitting on her swing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and pets.

Along with her husband, Jesse, she is survived by children, Arthur "A.J." (Kellie) Cline of Troy, MO, and Jessica (Michael Henkhaus) Pruitt of East Alton; grandchildren, Haylee Cline, Emily Cline, Taylor Cline; a sister, Cheryl (Al) Baiter of IL; a sister-in-law, Peggy Cline of Sapulpa, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ed Cline; and best friend, Pam Carey.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.

Memorials are suggested to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
