Patricia Higdon

Patricia A. Higdon, 80, passed away 11:58 pm, Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Alton on December 17, 1937, she was the daughter of Lester and Elizabeth "Becky" (Coatney) Lawrence.

She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Unit Clerk at Wood River Township Hospital before retiring in 1989.

Surviving are two sons, Marty Higdon and Billy Higdon both of Wood River; daughter, Pam Schardan of Wood River; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Lawrence of Roxana.

Her parents; son, Ronnie Higdon; and brother, Rich Lawrence preceded in death.

No services have been scheduled.  Her body was cremated in accordance with her wishes.

Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
