Patricia Higgins

Patricia A. Higgins, 75, died at 5:48 a.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born April 3, 1937 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Thomas and Agnes Lucille (Wildowner) Jones. She married Willard Higgins on June 20, 1964 in Alton. He preceded her in death on August 6, 2008. Surviving is a daughter, Kimberly Smith of Alton, three grandchildren, Brooke Corrigan (Richard), Devone Hartwell, and Jason Weber, four great grandchildren, Macie Corrigan, Nicholas Corrigan, Caleb Hartwell, and Karlie Weber. A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at the United Methodist Cemetery in Bethalto. Reverend Melvin Naylor will officiate.
