Paul McGuiggan

Paul Earl McGuiggan, 74, born on December 15, 1946, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at his residence in Alhambra Care Center. He served his nation in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Marian (Gray) McGuiggan; a sister, Joyce, also a son, Paul Brittain. Survivors include two daughters, Christine Harders and Melissa Celis. Siblings include a sister, Janet Watt, and a brother, Patrick A. McGuiggan. Grandchildren include Brittany Woods, Lauren Harders, Andrew Celis, Abriana and Anabel Celis, and three great-grandchildren, November, June, and Tristan Jr. He is also survived by his wonderful lifelong friend, Sandy Boone whom he loved dearly and has always been by his side. Paul also left behind another extended family from Alhambra Care Center. Paul will always be remembered for his outburst of song and his love of Jesus. A private gathering of the family will be held at a future date in honor of his life. Gent Funeral Home in Alton is in charge of arrangements. Online guestbook and information may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com
