Paul Cureton

Paul L. Cureton, 65, passed away at 3:45pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at his residence. He was born July 24, 1952, in Melrose Park, Illinois, the son of the late Harry and Shirley (Stevens) Cureton. He married the former Sharlene Anderson on May 24, 1975, in Flint, Michigan, and she survives. Other survivors include two sons and daughters in law: Matt and Jennifer Cureton of Prairietown, Mitch and Amanda Cureton of Clinton, Michigan, four grandchildren: Emma, Lily, Connor, Annabel, one sister, and two brothers.

Paul was formerly employed at Yazaki as a logistics manager. He was a member of Moro Presbyterian Church in Moro. He enjoyed playing golf, mowing his grass, and spending time with his grandchildren.

In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, May 14, 2018, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorial services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Moro Presbyterian Church in Moro. Rev. Marc Wendleton will officiate.
