Peggy Carder

Peggy L. Carder, 80, of Litchfield, IL, died at Hillsboro Rehab & Health Care, Hillsboro, IL on Friday, September 11, 2026.

She was born March 25, 1946, in Flora, IL to Charles Goings & Thelma Guinn Goings. She married Floyd W. Carder on December 26, 1964 in Sailor Springs, IL. 

She was an antique store attendant. Peggy enjoyed refinishing old furniture, Las Vegas and her family.

She is survived by her spouse, Floyd W. Carder, daughters, Lesley D. Lineback, Shelly R. Stokes, grandchildren, Brady Stokes, Ashley Lineback, T.J. Stokes, Drake Lineback, Colby Stokes, great-grandchildren, Harlo Stokes, Knox Lineback, Mack Lineback, siblings, Alice Casolari, Ina Ray. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Francis Young, Jo Ann Laycoax. 

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.  Memorial services will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL at 12:00 pm. Luncheon will be on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Fellowship Hall in Clay City, IL at 1:00 pm. 

Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
