Peggy Gibbons

Peggy E. Gibbons, 62, passed away at 3:59am on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Alton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. She was born on October 8, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Chester H. and Helen L. (Bricker) Graham. She married Donald “Don” Gibbons and he preceded her in death. Survivors include a son: James “Rob” Tanner of St. Louis, Missouri, a son in law: David J. Mercer of St. Louis, Missouri, two brothers: Robert Graham of Alton, Michael K. Walker of East Alton. She was formerly employed at the Department of Rehabilitative Services for 20 years prior to her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Cynthia Davison, Vicky Skelton, and Catherine Graham. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
