Peggy Loafman

Peggy L. (Asaro) Loafman, 79 of Franklinton, NC, formerly of Alton, IL entered into eternal rest on March 5, 2026. Peggy was the daughter of the late Catherine T. Asaro and Patrick J. Asaro Sr.

She was a graduate of Southeastern College in Wake Forest, NC. She was employed and retired from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.

She is survived by her three children - a daughter Debbie (Nick) Azzarello, and two sons Keith Porter and Rick (Melissa) Moses. Five grandchildren - Stephanie (Josh) Sheets, Steven Ragusa, Britaney (Brandon) Grizzle, Ryan Porter and Jeffrey Moses. Seven great grandchildren - Jordan, Tyler, Olivia, Jayce, Reese, Baker and Lylah. A brother - Patrick (Sharon) Asaro Jr. and many cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Nancy Bowns.

A private burial was held as per her wishes.
