Peter Sanders

Peter Mark Sanders, 69, died at 5:22 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2024 at Alton Memorial Hospital. 

Born July 31, 1955 in Indiana, he was the son of Peter Kenneth and Sue (Dopson) Sanders. 

He retired in 2020 as a senior electrical Engineer for D.R.S. On June 20, 1990 he married the former Lynn Marie Boehmer in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She survived. 

Also surviving is Dustyne Boehmer of Brighton, who was like a daughter to him, two grandchildren, Isac Boehmer of Brighton and Lena Hanna of Brighton, one brother, four sisters, nieces and nephews, Mary Friend of St. Louis, MO, Lisa Plough of Edwardsville, and Jason Runde of Bunker Hill, sisters-in-law, Cynthia Tharp of Bunker Hill and Catherine Boehmer of St. Louis, MO, his step-mother, Mary Sanders of Griffith, IN and friends, Ron Ronciak, Jim Marsala and Gary Bennett. 

Due to weather conditions the visitation has been changed to Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 2-5 p.m. at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
