Rev. Dennis Dale Baker, Sr

Rev. Dennis Dale Baker, Sr., 71, passed away 2:35 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Alton on April 16, 1945, he was the son of Daniel and Gertrude (Gibbs) Baker.

A U.S. Air Force electrical tech veteran, he was employed by Cardinal Business Equipment as a repair technician and had worked for Veterans Administration at the hospital.

On March 4, 2000 in Alton, he married Helen Fulton.  She survives.

Surviving also are a son, Dennis D. Baker, Jr. of East Alton; and two sisters, Phyllis Huntsman and Jackie Jones both of Alton.

His parents; a brother, Daniel Baker; and a sister, Pat Warren preceded in death.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River.  Revs. Robert Bolinger and Darryl Wilson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Woodland Hill Cemetery.
