Robert “Bobby” Mersman, 54, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born June 16, 1958 in Alton, he was the son of George and Virginia (Trimmer) Mersman. He was a truck driver for Western Construction Company in St. Louis, MO.
Surviving are three brothers, Steve Mersman (Patricia) of Alton, Georgie Mersman Jr. of St. Louis, MO, and Larry Mersman of Desoto, MO, three sisters, Sandy Campbell (David) of Villa Ridge, MO, Gail Zykan (Ronald) of Godfrey, and Vickie Kentzinger (Gary) of St. Louis, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton.
Father James Flach will officiate. Burial will be private.
