Roberta Rowden

Roberta “Bobby” Ruth Rowden, nee Reinbold, 90, of Belleville, IL, born November 8, 1935, in Belleville, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Roberta worked in the family business as a bookkeeper at Home-Brite Ace Hardware in Belleville, IL. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Affectionately known as Bobby, she had a love for jazz music, playing the piano, knitting, and dancing. She had a passion for traveling and shared many wonderful adventures around the world with her longtime partner, Eric Juenge, creating cherished memories along the way. Above all, Bobby treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her so much love, laughter, and happiness. Whether exploring new places or simply enjoying time with those she loved, Bobby embraced life and the special moments it brought.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur E. and Lillian V., nee Schroeder, Reinbold.; her former husband, Walter E. Rowden

Surviving are her three sons, Clark (Julie) Rowden, Jay (Debbie) Rowden, and Lyle (Jo) Rowden; six grandchildren, Britney, Trevor (Lauren), Rene, Ryan (Christina), Mary Jo, and Kelly Rowden; and 11 great-grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kharyss, Sequoia, Indi, Oshyn, Ella, Jack, Madeline, Riley, Sebastian, and Ambrose.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Msgr. Willaim McGhee officiating.

A private family burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
