Roger Cope

Roger Dale Cope, 68, of South Roxana, IL, passed away at 3:14 a.m. Sat. July 25, 2020 at his home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1951 in Williamsport, IN to the late Raymond Russell and Martha Josephine (VanBrunt) Cope.

Roger loved being with his group at Center Stone.  He had a big heart and kind soul and trusted others easily, always believing the best in them.  He also loved coloring, eagles and fishing.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Samantha and Katie; 3 sisters: Sandra Cope of South Roxana, Evelyn (Mark) Bowman of Ballwin, MO and Carol Cope of Seymour, IL.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Russell Cope.
