Sarah Hampton

Sarah Danae Hampton, 39, died at 6:38 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Alton Memorial Hospital. 

Born July 8, 1985 in Alton, she was the daughter of Bradley A. Hampton (Martha Rankin) of Alton and Tracy (Jimmy) Wiegand Palmer of Alton. 

Graveside services will be private at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. 

Memorials may be made to the 5A’s Animal Shelter, Hand Up Housing of Alton or the Overnight Warming Locations in Alton.

Sarah returned the gift of life to at least four other people via her generous organ donations.
