Sharon Buechler

Sharon L. Buechler, nee Parrish, 79, of St. Jacob, IL, born September 29, 1946, in Riverton, WY, died Friday, January 16, 2026, at her residence.

Sharon loved St. Louis Cardinal baseball. She found joy in listening to wind chimes and sitting outside. Above all, Sharon enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Donald S. Buechler, whom she married on November 8, 1974, at St. Teresa Catholic Church, Belleville, IL, and who died on August 6, 2020; and her parents, Nels and Helen, nee Rice, Parrish.

Surviving are her son, Robert Marsh; two daughters, Sherri (Ronald) Townley and Tammie (Eric) Marsh; five grandchildren, Misty Hastings (Nathan), Cortney (David) French, Laurie McGowan, Candy Kane, and Dawn Massey; and three great-grandchildren, Macenzie Hastings, Triston Hastings, and Willow French.

Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
