Shirley Havey

Shirley A. Havey, nee Duniphan, 79, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, January 12, 1945, in Marble Hill, MO, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Shirley worked in the security department for St. Louis University and was a member of Swansea Baptist Church in Swansea, IL. She faithfully worked at the food pantry on Mondays and Wednesdays for many years. She regularly served as a security team member. She worked the annual scouting for food drive. She loved working with children at the vacation Bible school and annual gingerbread house making event, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She had a master’s degree from St. Louis University. She was a faithful member of the Swansea Baptist church and regularly attended on Sundays and Wednesday.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Brother, Dannie Duniphan
• Sister, Lois Kinny

Surviving are her:

• Mother Rosie, nee Moen, Duniphan
• Loving Husband, Daniel Havey of Belleville, IL

  • Jerry (Lisa) Beck of Galatia, IL
  • Darla Fang of Troy, IL
• Many dear grandchildren and great grandchildren

Visitation: Visitation from 3-4 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Swansea Baptist Church 292 Frank Scott Parkway East, Belleville, IL 62226.

Memorial Service: will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Swansea Baptist Church, with Pastor Wilson Wickiser officiating.
