Stanley Barth

Stanley Dean Barth, 75, died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Alton Memorial Hospital. Born December 3, 1939 in Alton he was the son of Walter and Hazel (Grabbe) Barth. He retired as a metallurgical engineer in 1995 after 33 years of service. On December 29, 1962 he married the former Donna Lindsay in Alton. She survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Kelly Barth McGeehan (Robert) of Lake Park, GA, a son, Dr. Lindsay Dean Barth of St. Louis, MO, two grandchildren, Mason McGeehan, and Cade Barth McGeehan, and a brother, Merlyn Barth of Missouri. Love him or hate him, he lived by his own rules until the very end. Memorials may be made to the Alton Marching 100 c/o ABOB, P.O.
