Tammy Cox

Tammy Ann Cox, 57, passed away Friday, July 23, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital.

Born in Alton on May 9, 1958, she was the daughter of Richard and Nancy (King) Christian.

She had been a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Wood River.

Surviving are two sons, Justin (Samantha) Cox and Nicholas (Chelsea) Cox all of Elsah; seven grandchildren, Kristen Cox, Brent Cox, Brendan Cox Brady Cox, Jaycee Cox, Madason Burris and McKenzi Burris; great grandson, Carter Gleason; long time companion, Dennis Legate of Elsah; and sister, Sandy Whittleman of Jerseyville.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Marks Mortuary in wood River.
