Terry Turner

Terry S. Turner, 68, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her home.

Born July 29, 1949 in Alton, she was a daughter of Lowell and Mary Elledge.

She married Bill G. Turner May 14, 1966 in Alton.  He survives.

Terry worked as a waitress and manager for various restaurants in the area.  She and her husband Bill loved taking cruises, and she also loved to play slot machines.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Janet (Bob) McAllister of Springfield, IL, William (Tammy) Turner of Jerseyville, Barbie Turner of Alton, Jennifer Turner of Staunton, and Danielle Turner of Carrollton, GA; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Campbell of Rosewood Heights and Mary (Steve) Gordon of Cottage Hills; and two brothers, Rick (Christine) Elledge of Alton and Mike (Terri) Elledge of Cottage Hills.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sonny Elledge.

Visitation will be at Paynic Home for Funerals in Rosewood Heights on Friday, Dec. 29 from 10 a.m. until services begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Stephen Martin will officiate. 

Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
