Theresa Oddo

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Theresa M. Oddo (Mussatto) on Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 always loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, Godmother, aunt and friend to many.

She was the widow of Salvatore E. Oddo Sr. Theresa was born February 22, 1926 in Prascorsano, Italy to Giacomo and Clotilde (Buffo) Musssatto. She graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School in St. Louis, Missouri and worked as an RN in the OR at Hines VA Hospital then as an RN for various OBGYN private practices.

She is survived by her four children, Salvatore E Oddo Jr. (Stephanie - Deceased), James (Cathy) Oddo, John (Andrada) Oddo, Lisa (Richard) Oddo-Carlson, six grandchildren, Matthew (Lizbeth) Oddo, Andrew (Jennifer) Oddo, Nicole (Jason) Laza, Danielle (Mike) Pins, James (Lauren) Oddo and Kayla Carlson, ten great grandchildren, Matthew Oddo, Ellie Oddo, Ryan Oddo, Jacob Oddo, Madison Laza, Jake Laza, Kaylee Laza, Lainey Laza, Mason Pins, Wesley Pins and many nieces, nephews and Godchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore E Oddo Sr., brother James Mussatto, sister in law Barbara Mussatto, niece Jamie Mussatto, daughter in law Stephanie Oddo.

Her hobbies and interests were traveling the world, baking, cooking, reading, music, bowling, golfing and playing cards. Theresa was dearly loved and will be missed, but will always be remembered in our hearts, souls, memories and prayers.

In person service as well as live streaming will be held on Saturday, October 25th, St. Giles Catholic Church (Oak Park, IL) at 9:00 am, graveside service following, St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (River Grove, IL) Celebration of Life following, Jim & Petes (Elmwood Park. IL).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the organization or charity of choice.
