Theresa Talleur

Theresa A. Talleur, age 66 of Highland, IL, died Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, IL.

She was born on Thursday, June 25, 1959, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Edgar and Barbara (nee Schlener) Poss.

On Friday, June 19, 1981, she married Daniel Irwin Talleur in Pierron, Illinois, who survives.

Terri was born and raised in Highland, Illinois. She graduated from Highland High School in 1977. After graduating, Terri worked in banking her entire career until her retirement in 2015. She enjoyed playing Euchre in a monthly card club. Terri played on the ‘over 40’ softball league for ladies for many years. She and her husband enjoyed “visiting the boat” as well. Terri had an extensive collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She also enjoyed reading and listening to audio books, as well as playing sudoku.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Edgar Zurliene, officiating.
