Timothy Molloy

Timothy Weston Molloy Sr., 77, died at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. 

Born January 29, 1941 in Alton, he was the son of Weston and Opal (Burke) Molloy.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton and the Alton Knights of Columbus.  He retired as a machinist from Owens Illinois Glass in Godfrey after 47 years of service.  On April 18, 1964 he married the former Janice Godar in Alton.  She survives. 

Also surviving are three daughters, Kimberly (Gregg) Sepulvado of Round Rock, TX, Lori (Ronald) Sepulvado of Atascocita, TX, and Jill (Aaron) Fry of Alton, one son, Timothy (Lisa) Molloy Jr. of Godfrey, three grandchildren, Kailey Sepulvado, Piper Fry, and Teagan Fry, one sister, Patricia (Tom) Wilson of Godfrey, a sister-in-law, Barb Molloy of Alton, a brother-in-law, Dick Renard of Kirkwood, MO and many nieces and nephews. 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Molloy Sr. and a sister, Kay Renard. 

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. 

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at St.  Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. 

Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Godfrey. 

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
