Tommie Lee Stainback Jr., 67, of Royal Lakes, IL, died at his residence on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 8:01 p.m.

He was born December 8, 1956, in Saint Louis, MO to Tommie Lee Stainback Sr. & Mae Catherine Jackson Stainback. He married Ollie Griffin Stainback.

He was a coal miner for Monterey Coal Co. Tommie enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and shooting pool.

He is survived by his spouse, Ollie Stainback of Royal Lakes, IL, daughter, Tamara Stainback of Atlanta, GA, grandchildren, Abriaun Lucas, Zackkeeus Brown, brothers, Andrei Johnson, Patrick Stainback, Tyrone Stainback, sisters, Roberta (Vernon) Johnson, Kathleen (Vontrell) Miller, Jeanette Harris, Abrelia Moody, Ramona McNamee, Stephanie Stainback, Bernadette Stainback, Stacey Stainback.

Tommie was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Johnson, Charlie Stainback and sister, Mary Lou Jones.

Friends may call on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Funeral services are Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 12 p.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Bunker Hill. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Cemetery, Bunker Hill, IL.
