Veachel Eippert

Veachel H. Eippert, 92, passed away at 10:28 am on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at East Alton, with his family by his side.

He was born on April 15, 1934, in East Alton, IL. the son of Duey and Velma (Flowers) Eippert.

Veachel married Rosario Cameron on September 13, 1996, in Baquio, Philippines, and she survives.

Veachel is a United States Navy Veteran, and was proud to have served his country, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Rosario; he is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Laura Cantu, Julie C. Abbot, Renne Eippert, Valerie Eippert, and Michelle and Damon Wahl; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three cousins, Pamala Withral, Velma Worhy, and Eugene Flowers; a nephew, Michael Strong; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lewis Worley; a sister, Betty Niedle; and a son-in-law, Daniel Cantu.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto, with Pastor Terry McKenzie officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Alton VFW #1308.

Cremation rites will be performed.
