Vorhis Lynn "Wampy" Allen, 95, husband of the late Betty (Sloan) Allen, died peacefully at 4:40 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home in Jerseyville. Surviving are: 2 sons - David Allen, and his companion, Debbie Haun of Jerseyville Kelly Allen of Jerseyville3 Grandchildren: Jacob & Breanne Shain of Jerseyville Rebecca "Becky" Allen of Springfield Amie & Paul Raymond of Jerseyville6 Great-GrandchildrenVisitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial: Carter Cemeter yin Carrollton In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jerseyville Meals on Wheels or to the Jerseyville American Legion Color Guard.
