William “Bill” M. Hubbard, – Just one lonely bell was ringing Thursday, September 25. William (Bill) Hubbard, age 69 of Belleville, IL, passed away surrounded by his family.
Bill, born January 5, 1956, in East St. Louis, IL, was a “straight forward, take me as I am” type of man with a heart of Gold. An avid outdoors man, he cherished hunting and fishing. He was well known for his tall tales, always able to bring a smile or a laugh to those around him.
A hard working man, Bill worked at the National City Stockyards from 1974 thru 1982 before becoming a skilled Union Carpenter. He could build just about anything and took great pride in his work. He found peace and happiness at “The Farm”, a place that was close to his heart.
Above all, Bill was a devoted family man. He will be remembered for his warmth, humor, stories and memories he leaves behind. Truly, a “One of a Kind” who was loved and respected by all.
