William Brockman

William T. Brockman Sr., 86, passed away at 10:29 am Saturday November 24, 2018 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 26, 1932 in Beatrice, Nebraska the son of Ira & Sallie (Harris) Brockman.

William retired from Springman Lumber Company in Alton where he was a carpenter, driver and fork lift operator.

He was very friendly, funny and good hearted.

He is survived by four sons, William Brockman Jr. of Grafton, Terry Brockman of Grafton, Carl Brockman of Alton; and David Madison of Jerseyville; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Ira Brockman and Glen Madison.

Visitation will be from 9 am until time of funeral at 11 am Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey.

Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
