Winifred Dolores Opperman, nee Kress, 94, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, May 10, 1930, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025 at Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah, IL.

Winifred was a retired sales clerk for Famous Barr/Macy’s.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents: Albert Kress, and Julia Kress
• Brother: Albert Kress Jr.
• Sister: Lorraine Joshu

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Services will be held at 7:00pm at Kurrus Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Scheets officiating. Private Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, in Belleville, IL.
