18+ Men's League

The 18+ Men’s League at The Sports Academy is for those who still want to compete after high school. We strive to create 2 divisions, more and less competitive. So, tape up those shin guards and get ready to roll!

About the League

Games are Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM or later
2 competition appropriate divisions are created when possible

18+ Co-Ed

Wednesday evenings

Teams are usually Division 2 level
Games are usually 7:30 pm and later

Sunday evenings

We offer 3 divisions:
- Division 1 – the best teams around
- Division 2 – somewhere in between
- Division 3 – Just for Kicks – teams just having fun. Most are new to indoor soccer. No playoff game in this division
Games are usually 1:00 pm and later

18+ Co-Ed Open Play

Adult Coed Open Play is only $5 per night. No RSVP, no commitment. Just show up, pay, and play.

From April-October we will have a set day/time. From November-March we will post random days/times here due to our peak season.

30+ Men's

The 30+ Men’s League at The Sports Academy is a lot of fun for those athletes 30+ that still enjoy a good workout. These games are still fairly fast-paced and, of course, a lot of fun!

Games are Sundays at 5:00 pm or later
2 competition appropriate divisions are created when possible

18+ Men's Flag Football

The 18+ Men’s Flag Football League at The Sports Academy is a fast-paced non-contact football league for men 18+ years of age. The Sports Academy offers 3 seasons of Flag Football: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

About the League

Games are Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM or later
2 competition appropriate divisions are created when possible

Registration Information

Team fee is 10 games for $720 (includes playoffs)
Individual registration for the House Team is $55/player
Registration deadline is one week prior to league starting
Full payment is required prior to the start of 3rd game (at least partial payments must be made each week prior)
$50 late fee for all leagues
Rosters must be turned in 15 minutes after your first game. You can change or add to the roster up to the start of the 2nd game

Children's Leagues

Juniors League | K - 1st Grade

We offer a co-ed league for boys and girls who are in Kindergarten and 1st grade! The sessions, which are held primarily on Sundays, follow a unique format that emphasizes fun and learning! The “Juniors” first receive 24 minutes of professional training from Elite FT and then put what they learned into a 24 minute game against another team.

Recreational League | 2nd - 8th Grade

The Sports Academy offers indoor youth leagues to three distinct skill levels:

Premier - Jan/Feb (Formerly known as Competitive #2) – Designed specifically for teams that play Select/Club soccer. We strive to have 2 divisions in age groups when enough teams register as this division will have all club teams: top, middle and bottom level
Competitive - Nov/Dec (formerly known as Competitive #1) – Designed for teams competing in middle to lower level select leagues as well as top recreational teams looking for a challenge.
Recreational #1 (Nov/Dec) and Recreational #2 (Feb/Mar/Apr) – The recreational division is exclusively for recreational teams. No club affiliated teams should sign up for this league regardless of record or time spent as a team in a select club.

Designed for area Park and Rec teams. Club/select teams belong in our Competitive division. We reserve the right to move you from this league to Competitive if necessary. We create the two youth leagues to ensure even skill and competitive games for all teams.

We have individual registration in Juniors and Recreational divisions (K-8th) to create TSA House Teams.

Competitive/Premier League | Ages 7 - 14

Designed specifically for teams that play Select/Club soccer. The area's best clubs and best teams play indoor soccer at The Sports Academy! These games are highly competitive and will test your team’s talent against the best-of-the-best in the area. This league brings teams in from Springfield, IL and MO, southern Illinois and St. Louis. It typically fills-up very quickly.

High School League

The High School League is competitive league for soccer players looking to focus on fitness and improve skill during their off-season. To protect the integrity of the league, special rules have been created in the High School Division. We are no longer offering a 'fun' high school division. All teams must represent a club or high school. If you're not sure whether or not your team fits in, please email info@thesportsacademy.net and ask. Teams who do not ask and are not a soccer team and represent a club or high school and cause problems may be removed without a refund. Safety is always first at TSA.

3 v. 3 Summer Friendlies

Summer scheduling is tricky! We strive to accommodate your schedule. We allow you to pick dates that work for you, based on those available. We will match you up with appropriate level competition! Our 3 v 3 Summer Friendlies offers : Flexible scheduling, choice of schedule, appropriate competition and loads of fun!

Birthday Parties

At just over 63,000 square feet, The Sports Academy contains two regulation size indoor soccer fields, an indoor play set, plus rooms that can be used to host meetings or parties. Our multipurpose facility can also be used for a variety of other events. We encourage you to contact us to host your next party, meeting or big event!

Hours

The PlayHouse is open anytime the facility is open and is only $4 for all day. If you plan to bring a big group to the PlayHouse or The Stadium, please call to inform our staff so you can receive proper service: (618) 288-6899. The ‘or later’ below means that our plan is to close at the designated time, but if there is a crowd here, we will stay open later for you!
