Hugh Jackman and Jake Gylenhaal star in the gripping and intense thriller Prisoners. When two little girls go missing from a tiny Pennsylvania suburb it falls to Gylenhaal's detective to find them and while he quickly identifies a suspect in Paul Dano's creepy RV driver, the trail goes cold fast. Left with no options the detective lets his top suspect go; something that does not sit well with Jackman as the father of one of the missing girls who is determined to do anything to get the creep to tell him where his daughter is. To say much more would spoil what is a brilliantly twisty and intense thriller that despite being over 2 and a half hours long never feels long at all. Prisoners is among the best movies of the Fall.
