Governor Walker marks the 226th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution in his weekly address.
"The Founders had been through war and risked everything to build a nation where its citizens could find freedom, justice, tranquility, and prosperity," Walker says. "We’re proud to our honor our nation’s founding document and those who fought courageously to create and defend it, including those men and women of the Armed Forces who are defending it still today."

Sen. Kathleen Vinehout touts in the Dems’ address her legislation to restore requirements for landline telephone service.
Vinehout, D-Alma, says areas with poor cell phone reception need landlines to accommodate emergency communications and business calls.
"Phone customers in Wisconsin were protected by a state law if they had no other service available," Vinehout says. "But this spring, the law expired leaving customers in many parts of the state wondering if they could still count on their landline."
