It’s girl scout recruitment time in the finger lakes, and this year, the programs are emphasizing different new pathways girls can take with their scouting experience.
The Girl Scouts director of Marketing and communications for New York Judy Gallagher, says there are other options than just the traditional troop.

Not only do girls get a lot out of scouting, but adult volunteers are always needed, and seem to take away a lot from the experience.
