Jerusalem GOP Primary Vote Ends in Tie

The votes are officially counted from the September 10th primary in Yates County and there's a tie.  Gary Dinehart and Daryl Jones tied with 302 votes in the Republican primary for one seat on the Jerusalem Town Board.

The Town's Republican Committee will meet Tuesday to choose the candidate of their choice.

Unfortunately for Jones and Dinehart, a tie could have been averted if one resident decided to choose one of the candidates instead of writing in "Mickey Mouse" on the ballot
