Cubs Fall To Braves; Open Final Home Series Tonight

Edwin Jackson allowed three runs in six innings as the Cubs suffered a 5-2 loss to the Braves yesterday at Wrigley Field. Jackson fell to 8-and-17 as Chicago lost its seventh game in nine outings. Dioner Navarro went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the loss.

The Cubs start their final home series of the year tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Jeff Samardzija takes the mound for Chicago. Atlanta counters with Charlie Morton, who is 7-and-4. The Braves have already clinched the NL East. First pitch is set for 7:05.
