Ipava Soldier Honored

An Illinois Army National Guard Soldier was named the National Defense Transportation Association’s Transportation Instructor of the Year for 2013.  Staff Sergeant David Berry of Ipava is an instructor in the Illinois National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 129th Regional Training Institute at Camp Lincoln in Springfield.  This is the second year in a row Illinois Army National Guard’s transporters have been recognized by the National Defense Transportation Association.  The 1644th Transportation Company in Rock Falls was NDTA’s Army National Guard Transportation Unit of the Year in 2012.
