Navy Helicopter Crashes Into Red Sea

Sep 23, 2013 7:48 AM

Rescuers are looking for two people reported missing after a Navy helicopter plunged into the Red Sea Sunday and they're all based out of San Diego.  Three people who were on board the MH-60S Nighthawk were rescued and are in stable condition.  The copter and its crew are based out of Naval Air Station North Island, but officials haven't released their identities.  The U.S. Naval Command Center says the crash was not the result of hostile activity and is under investigation.  The helicopter was attached to the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group.
