Fall Car Care Focuses on Tires

It is not extremely hot or cold right now, but car care experts say that is no reason to let maintenance become an afterthought. With fall here and temperatures dropping, you may notice a reminder light up on your dash board. Chuck Tucker, General Manager at Andy's Tire and Auto Center at Alton Square, says that is your car telling you your tire pressure is falling.

He says it's also important to visually inspect your tires. Look for and remove any foreign objects or debris that might have become wedged between the treads. Always check for irregular wear patterns, as that may mean your tires need rotating and/or your wheels need to be realigned.
